About Us

We are a group of family and close friends that enjoy creating. Designing interiors since 1978, we began to broaden our scope to include event planning in 2005. We included invitations and stationery along with stitching to match as a way to make our events unique. We can also create custom florals and sweet treats for any occasion. We make it our personal goal to ensure that our clients enjoy every moment we are involved in.  We know that our clients come to us to make their experiences as wonderful as possible and we take great pride in providing them the best possible memories for every step they take. From planning and decorating for showers and weddings to helping you to design the perfect sanctuary, we will utilize our combined 50+ years of experience in executing your goals. We love to find new products, create unique items and we have a flair for design.

 

Kathryn C. Bachelot, ASID, or better known as Kathy, is our senior designer. Kathy is a 1978 graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, specialization in Interior Design. Kathy has been a practicing designer since her college days. She has 30 years of continuing education in various areas, and served as a leisure learning instructor for McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Kathy has maintained her membership with American Society of Interior Designers since she was a student member in college. Presently she is a professional member. Carmen de los Reyes is the creative genius of print design. Carmen is a designer on many levels; however, her invitations and stationery set themselves apart from all others. If you are lucky enough to have found one of our invitations, you will know that Carmen has had a hand in it. Carmen also works on all events and projects with florals, space planning, furniture placement and basic design. Her holiday staging is outstanding. She is constantly coming into the office with unique items for our holiday and bridal clients. One thing is for sure, if we are working on a project for a client, Carmen will keep it exciting. Lauren Bachelot Martin is a designer on our team. She is a 2003 graduate of Lamar University with a degree in Interior Design. With Lauren’s degree, she specializes in finish selections, flooring specifications /installations and cabinet design. She also uses her design abilities to assist with all of our events. Lauren is extremely talented with computer technology and cutting edge ideas for our clients. Our brides are particularly pleased with Lauren’s ability to share her vast bridal resources and give fantastic ideas for decorations, favors and attendant gifts. She quite often finds the one element that sets an event or project apart from all others. She will save clients time and money in assisting them with setting up wedding websites and managing information online. Kay Ford Clark is the backbone of our group. Kay is a retired teacher, with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education from McNeese State University. After numerous years of doing beautiful hobby handwork, she joined with her daughter, Kathy, and went into business so she could share her talent with others. Kay concentrates primarily on the monogramming, embroidery and sewing design end of the business. Her critical eye and handwork is second to none. She does, however, work on all of our projects and clients will find that her talents are vast and creative. Her specialty items are exquisite!

Vicky Broussard is a computer designer on our team. She works tirelessly to get all designs fine tuned and ready for print. She can work with a client to create a print color or design that works for them. If a client has a special need, Vicky is the one that will make it work. Vicky is also a master at digitizing designs to make them ready for monogramming or embroidery. When we are creating a design for the client, she will do the initial work so that each aspect of our project will link to the other, making event or project unique.

Jack Holden is our technical advisor. It takes all of his time to keep us designing, printing and plugged in! He is a wizard in technology and network support. Jack uses his vast talents assisting with all of our projects and events. Marketing and creative writing are high on his list of daily tasks.

Jan Ondrias has been working with us on conventions and corporate events since 2002. She is from Wharton, TX and has over 25 years of experience in floral design, as well as wedding coordination.  She is our hands on bouquet, corsage and boutineer designer.  With her magic touch she makes all of our designs come to life.
