Happy Friday everyone. This week’s post is going to be short and sweet! :) I have spent the past several days in bed very much under the weather and then when I tried to get all of my pictures together my editing program decided to stop working less than half way through. :( So to say the least I am ready for this week to be over and to start next week off on a much better foot!

We spent this past weekend going through and organizing our warehouse and photographing all of our goodies. We have so much more than I thought we did! Fabulous Friday: Blue is the Color for 2012

For 2011 the hot wedding color was purple! This year the color of colors is most definitely blue. From navy and royal to aqua and teal and everything in between. The cool hue is making a major splash in the wedding world! So this week we are focusing on the trendy shade and bringing you all kinds of blue goodness!

Whether you take your cue from fabulous French dishes and create a classic blue and white scheme to tossing in a little more color, we have some ideas for you. So grab your latte, sit back and be prepared to be inspired.

From French dishes to American flags blue is a must. I love the bold pops of red against the richness of the navy blue and crispness of the white.  Simply classic.

From red to yellow, both compliment blue in a bold and eye-popping way. If I had access to that fabulous yellow church, blue and yellow would most definitely be my wedding colors.

Or you can replace this dark rich shade of blue for a softer shade. This beautiful combination of soft turquoise and yellow are ideal for a fabulous spring wedding or perhaps a fun bridal tea.

Or switching the yellow for orange for a great summer inspired celebration! Flip flops and boardwalks, yes please!

For all of you pink lovers out there combining eye-popping fuchsia with bold royal blue can really add a touch of playfulness to any celebration.

For one of my favorite combos at the moment combine your favorite shade of blue with a punch of vibrant green for a very unexpected combo. I love the play of these two bold colors off of one another.

I hope you found some inspiration of the blue variety. We have big plans this weekend to organize all of our rental items in our warehouse. Look for lots of pictures to come. Until next time, have a fabulous weekend!

Bridal Traditions: January 22, 2012

I think it is fair to say that this past weekends Bridal Traditions Show was a MAJOR success. It was one of our best shows to date and we enjoyed seeing all of our old and current brides and meeting lots of sweet new ones.  This weeks appointment calendar is overflowing to say the least and we look forward to working with all of you on your upcoming weddings! Now on to why you are all here, pictures!

Earthy tones and natural fibers are a hot trend in the wedding world right now. Beware, our love for burlap might explode. :)  That same organic feel is also making a big statement in paper goods. We have had so much fun trying out different textures and styles and the new wood grain paper we have is amazing! Add a little twine and a tambourine with custom label and my heart starts to beat a little faster!

Also making a statement this year are rich, bold colors. Deep reds and oranges are beautiful all on their own but combine them and you have one spectacular color combo.  We can’t wait to show you a wedding that we are currently working on that uses these colors.

If pink and green are your thing then we had plenty of that too!  We have had so much fun playing around with all of the beautiful and graphic papers that we found while in New York!

Remember all of the purple weddings and invitations we did last year? Well this years color for brides is definitely blue. From dark navy to azure and everything in between.

Not only did we bring some new invitation designs but we brought some new rental items as well. We have chalkboard signs in all different shapes ans sizes from arrows to wine bottle labels and everything in between. We also brought our ever popular ribbon backdrop with bright and bold colors mixed with burlap and lace. oh my!

We always love bringing new invitations to the shows to show you but we also like to bring some of our favorites too. We have several styles of invitations that are classic and always remain popular with our oh so stylish brides.

I hope you all enjoyed the show as much as we did. We look forward to working with all of you to make your special day the day you have always dreamed about. See you all on Friday!
