Fabulous Friday: Candy Bar Alternatives

I don’t know about you guys but I am so glad it is Friday! Summer is winding down and we have been gearing up for our very busy fall wedding season.  October will be crazy around here and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Now onto why you are all here……..

Candy bars have been steadily climbing into the “must haves” of a lot of brides planning their dream weddings. We love a good candy bar and have so much fun creating them, I am like a kid in a candy store! (pun intended, ha!)

But as your place to go for all things different and unique we are here to give you some alternatives to the traditional candy bar! There are so many possibilities and we are here to give you a few. Our first idea still involves candy but makes it a little more interactive and creates a sweet treat that everyone loves! Behold the candy apple bar!!!! Wouldn’t this be fabulous at a fall wedding or party?

What about a trail mix bar?!?! This could easily be played up for a wedding and down for a kids birthday party.  Remember it is all in the presentation!  Moms everywhere would be grateful for this healthier alternative to all that candy!

Or perhaps a popcorn bar? You can have different flavors of popcorn along with different toppings to sprinkle on. So cute!

You know my infatuation with s’mores so I couldn’t have a post on food and not include that tasty treat! Cue the s’mores bar! It makes me want to go light a fire in this 90 degree weather and toast some marshmallows! OK, maybe I will wait till it is a little cooler down here!

If you all have a love for baked good like I do then these next ideas are a must. You could do a cupcake or pie bar with all your favorite flavors. Or perhaps a milk and cookie bar?! Yes please!

And for a little more of an adult twist on it why not set up a margarita bar or a mojito bar?!?! I mean, it is the weekend!

I hope you have a fabulous weekend and enjoyed all of the yummy treats. Until next time…….
