Happy Friday! I hope your week went well and you have something fun planned for the weekend. Up next on our wedding catch up is Amy and Phillip’s fabulous French Masquerade inspired wedding! We had so much fun working with Amy, Phillip and both of their families on their magical day!
Let’s dive right into this lovely wedding shall we. All of the printed material at the wedding was modeled after their custom invitations we created. As you all know we like to brand weddings and carry and logos and designs we create from beginning to end to give it that personal touch.
We used a mix of turquoise, salmon, gold and white linens to set the tone that shimmered in the candlelight once the sun went down. It was breathtaking. The flowers were a dramatic array of colors from soft pinks and peaches to bold orange and purple. These are some of my favorite flowers that we have done because they were just so vibrant and beautiful.
To add that special touch we incorporated venetian mask into the entire reception. From the food and candy tables that we will get to in a minute to the flower arrangements. The guest had fun putting them on throughout the night and even taking them home as a parting gift.
The Bride and Groom’s mask were stunning! They got them on a trip to Europe and brought them back for their wedding and wore them as they entered the reception. At their place settings and the other reserved tables we had little nibbles from the dessert bar for them enjoy.
I know I keep talking about a dessert bar and here it is. In place of a Groom’s cake Phillip wanted a buffet filled with all of his favorite chocolates. We have Belgian chocolates, mini chocolate mousse cupcakes, rum balls, French macaroons from Sweet Cheeks, cupcakes and beautiful mask cookies from Designer Desserts.
Kay Palumbo did an outstanding job on the Bridal cake as always! It was a stunning creation of soft blue and salmon with intricate gold piping and beautiful sugar flowers on top.
I know I have already said it but it is worth saying again, we had so much fun working on this wedding with both Amy and Phillip and their families, The are such a sweet, sweet couple and wish them a lifetime of happiness.
