Fabulous Friday ~ Linens

If you haven’t noticed by now that I am completely obsessive about what I do or that sometimes I just can’t contain my enthusiasm then you must be living under a rock!  Kidding!  Who knows how many times a day I pick up the phone to call or text Kathy and Carmen to tell them they have to go check this or that out.  I have come to the conclusion that I need some way to channel all of this energy. So today marks the beginning of K & K Fabulous Fridays! Fabulous Friday you say, what does this mean? Well, every Friday we are going to bring you something…. you guessed it,  FABULOUS! (How many times can I say fabulous in one paragraph?!) 🙂 It might be in the form of a great new product or find that we came across, an inspiration for you to dream of or something completely FABULOUS that we think you need to know about! 

Today we are going to bring you some unique and inspiring linen ideas. Linens are at the heart and soul of your design. They are a big tool to help and set the tone of your event. They can be as understated or eye popping as you wish.  Some brides are a little hesitant about linens, they are afraid to be daring and let them make a statement.  I hope you find some inspiration in what I have to show you.  So let’s get to it and start off with a bang!

How is that for a bold pattern! Don’t be afraid to use a large pattern for your table cloths.  Many brides don’t realize that this can be a money saver, with such a graphic print you don’t need nearly as many flowers.  The use of the red chair covers and yellow sashes and the pop of vibrant blue really make a huge statement.

Want a little more of a luxurious feel, check out these Moroccan inspired designs. The rich colors and layers of textured fabrics give off such a sensuous vibe.

The use of bold patterns and colors can also add a bit of whimsy and fun to your event too. 

Are you a bride that is looking for an alternative to the black and white damask that has been so popular in the past? You can still get that but with a much more sophisticated and original design then everyone that has done it before you.

I know that I sound like a broken record but purple is hot right now y’all!!!! Don’t be afraid to mix it up a bit and use different intensities and shades of purple in the same design.

If pink is your passion, we’ve got that covered too. Wouldn’t this be such a sweet shower or bridesmaids luncheon?!?!

And who says nature can’t be sexy?

I love the sparkle and texture in those brown overlays. Like I mentioned before you can also make a statement with texture.  I love the whimsical feel you get when you pair a luxurious lace in and outdoor setting. The contrast is amazing! Aren’t these to die for!

If you are tired of the same old chair covers and sashes, why not punch it up a bit with these ideas.

And while your at it how about changing up the skirting on your tables.  Aren’t these glowing skirts spectacular?!?!
