Good Friday to all of you! It is finally starting to feel like summer around here and I am loving it! Just thought I would let you all know. 🙂 Now onto why you are all here. This past weekend we had the pleasure of seeing all of the hard work we have done over this past year come together for LaKeisha & Terry’s very romantic wedding. This wedding was filled with so much vintage romance that it was hard to weed through all of the pictures. I did manage to narrow it down a little.
As guest arrived they were greeted by the sign in table with a unique sign in book. LaKeisha had all of her guest sign different pages of her bible. What a great way to start off your lives together……
A wooden cart was used in place of a traditional gift table along with a birdcage on a shepherds hook.
Since the ceremony and reception were all at the same venue and in the same room we had the guest sit at their table for the ceremony as well. We have done this numerous times for weddings and the guest seem to really enjoy it. We created a custom seating chart on velum that directed them to the correct table where they had place cards and programs waiting for them.
I almost forgot the cake boxes! We made mini cake boxes for everyone to take home a slice of cake as their favor.
The ceremony backdrop was rented from our friends at Occasions and Carmen and Jan did a fabulous job on the flowers!
The unity candle stand was an antique vanity that we have and did double duty as a place to create a picture memorial for all of their relatives that are no longer with them. The ring bearer pillow and flower girl ball were all created by K & K and had burlap accents.
For the table and chair linens we did a combination of our crocheted overlay and lace toppers from Occasions over our brown tablecloths. The Bride and Groom’s table had a burlap tablecloth and huge burlap and fabric flowers that we also rented from Occasions. For the chairs we used a clover green tie for a pop of color.
I know I have already mentioned how wonderful Carmen and Jan did on the flowers but y’all, they did WONDERFUL! Check out these centerpieces. We did a combination of silver pieces overflowing with beautiful roses, Hydrangea, babies breath and so much more!
I told you they were fabulous!
LaKeisha’s wanted to do a special table for her son and all of his friends so instead of flower’s for his centerpiece we did a candy bar!
Now on to the cakes and another masterpiece by Kay Palumbo! Her cakes are AMAZING!!!!! The Groom’s cake was a two layer german chocolate cake with chocolate covered strawberries.
For the Bride’s cake we actually had 5 different cakes! Yes, I said 5! We had the table set up like a tea party and the toppers on all of the cakes were antique tea cups with flowers coming out of them. For the backdrop we used our wooden gates and hung moss-covered letters on them.
We had such a great time working with LaKeisha on her BIG DAY! Wishing you both lots of happiness! Thank you for letting us be a part of your special day.
