Spring is in the air! Well, I know we are all hoping it is anyway! This winter has been brutal for most of the US and I know we could all use some warm temperatures and beautiful blue skies!

First up is a board that to me represents everything spring is about. It is about new life, fresh flowers and lovely colors. The inspiration for this came from the pictures of the cupcakes. I love the complete mix of all of the different pastels and they way they combine to make such a fresh and fun look.

My next inspiration came from the picture of the couch with the beautiful throw pillows.  It is completely non wedding related but when I saw it I knew I had to do something with it.  The soft pinks and blues combined with either a touch of silver or gold will really add a feminine flare to your wedding!

If that is just way to frilly for your groom’s taste why not make it a little less PINK! You can swap the pink for a rich coral and all will be happy. I mean, isn’t compromise what marriage is all about!  The inspiration for this board came from nature! I found the picture of that beautiful bird and just had to expand on it.  The colors can be as muted or as bold as you like to add a little different feel to your big day!

You might remember us talking about our love of all things southern and all things peach in this post so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to use it again.  I feel in love with the picture of the bridal gown with the different intensities of peach bridesmaids dresses. I added a touch of green for a little interest and voila, a fresh look for your wedding day!

My next color combo was actually a 2 part inspiration. I first saw the picture of the flip flops and thought now isn’t that fun and cute. Then I saw the picture of the pitcher of lemonade.  (Try saying that 3 times in a row!)  I make a killer pink lemonade cocktail every year for Easter and so when I saw that I just couldn’t resist. This pink and yellow combo is totally happy and different! Their isn’t much more to say, it just makes me smile.

If pink isn’t your thing then I have one for you. The combination of blue and green is definitely unique and what groom can complain if you use these colors! I took my inspiration from the to die for chair you see below! Isn’t it FABULOUS!!!

And for someone who loves green like I do I couldn’t not include this last one.  It is preppy and clean and oh so much fun!  The inspiration for this came from the fabulous stripped skirt! I love it and everything about this green and white color combo. And for all you Irish brides isn’t this a fun way to celebrate your heritage without having little leprechauns jumping out of the centerpieces! 🙂

I hope you enjoyed this weeks post! Have a Fabulous Friday!
